Vengar Construction Corp. is a general contracting firm formed in 1972 as an Illinois corporation. Specializing in commercial, industrial, educational and restoration construction and alterations, we have completed many different types of structures including; office buildings, schools, crane buildings, distribution centers, food processing and manufacturing facilities.
Director Kenneth L. Gardstom graduated from Bradley University and began his career with Clearing Industrial District Inc. in 1965. In 1972 Ken formed Vengar Const. Corp. and has completed millions of square feet of new and alteration construction in the metro Chicago area since that time. Ken’s son David K. Gardstrom (President) graduated from Purdue University in 1996. David began his career as a Channel Sales Engineer with Rockwell International and later joined the Vengar team in 2000. David plans to guide the company through another 40 years of excellence in the construction industry.
Vengar is very active in the commercial and industrial construction market. Vengar has built our reputation on 40 years of high quality work, customer satisfaction, and the pride that comes from a successfully completed construction project. In the April 2009 publication of Midwest Construction magazine, Vengar was named one of the Top 125 Contractors in the Midwest Region.
